No one wants to start the holiday season with reports about cancer spreading from the original location to other parts of the body—but that’s what my CT scan showed.

One of the hardest things about PSCC is that many people never hear about it until it has already changed their lives. I know that feeling personally. By the time I understood how aggressive PSCC could become, I was already facing Stage 3 disease and later metastatic spread to my lung. That is why awareness matters so much.

Cancer spread is not something we should only talk about after it happens. Earlier awareness, earlier conversations, and earlier detection can change outcomes. They can create more treatment options, more time, and sometimes stop cancer from reaching other parts of the body at all.

That is why I continue sharing these graphics and writing openly about PSCC. Not to frighten people—but to encourage people to pay attention, ask questions, and act early when something does not feel right. Too many people are still navigating this disease in silence.
