Hey, this is Ty. I have wanted to write down some of the things I am looking back on, as a way for other men to see my journey and learn from it. There are good questions that should come out of Letter No. 3. I will put the ones I think of in my journey blog at https://www.pscccancer.org/psccblog In any medical situation, not just in very rare cancers, asking lots of questions, and advocating for yourself has a direct impact on you. Surgery is not a place to find out your surgeon had a different idea about a procedure. It's not the place to find out your surgeon wasn't clear about your wishes. Detect cancer early, when it's making small changes. Get medical attention soon, and insist on understanding what your medical providers are planning.
